WELCOME TO THE SPITJACK
The SpitJack Rotisserie Brasserie was an exciting concept curated by husband and wife team, Richard and Laura, which came to life in mid 2017.
After years of experience working in high-end hospitality in some of the world’s leading hotels, the couple relocated to Cork with the aspiration of opening a restaurant in the heart of the city. They wanted the foundation of their restaurant to reflect a Taste of Ireland with the quality and high standard of Irish meat enhanced by the wonders of Rotisserie Cooking.
Predominantly meat focused, The SpitJack also offers wonderful vegetarian menus and “free from” options, providing a restaurant that caters for everyone.
The SpitJack Cork, located on Washington Street in the heart of Cork City quickly became one of the best restaurants in Cork for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. Later followed by the opening of The SpitJack Limerick in 2020, right on the corner of Henry Street and Bedford Row, our second location has been as much of a success story as the first. Our story is to be continued.

We are consciously striving towards supporting sustainability. Using surplus ingredients, we contribute to making our own garnishes, infusions, purées, cordials and shrubs from the use of fresh fruit to the herbs in our garden no ingredient gets left behind…
